The Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for our 2023 Annual Chamber Awards!

You may nominate different businesses, organizations, or individuals, in their respective categories. Eligible businesses and organizations must be Chamber members in good standing. Citizen of the Year nominations must be a Waldo County resident.

The Chamber Awards Gala will be held November 3, 2023 at 5:00pm at the United Farmers Market of Maine.


Tickets: $75/per person (Tables of 8 available)
Gala includes dinner & hors d’oeuvres by Delvino’s, cash bar, and festivities.

2022 Chamber Awards

The Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors were pleased to announce the winners of this year’s annual Chamber Awards, voted by you the people! Nearly 1,300 submissions!

    • This award recognizes a person who has made an outstanding positive impact in Waldo County during the past year or so, either through a single event or on a continuous basis. 2021 Chamber Awards

Thank you to everyone who voted in 2021! A record 1,638 votes submitted!

The Chamber & Board of Directors, in partnership with Rollie’s Bar & Grill, held an in person November Business After Hours at the Waldo County Shrine Club on Wednesday, November 17th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. The 2021 Annual Chamber Awards were also presented to the respective winners at this event.

2020 Chamber Awards

2020 marked the 60th Annual Chamber Awards! Nearly 1,100 respondents cast votes for their favorite businesses, organizations, and individuals in the community.

The 2020 Annual Chamber Awards were presented on location on November 23rd and 24th with each award winner at their respective businesses. Due to COVID-19, we decided not to hold a larger in-person awards event this year. Winners were announced daily at 4pm beginning December 1st and concluded with the full video presentation at 7pm on December 7th. A very special thank you to our Celebration Sponsors this year:
