Find Home with RE/MAX Jaret & Cohn

Mission:

For over 40 years, RE/MAX Jaret & Cohn has been guiding people home in Midcoast Maine with diligence, confidence, and strong local expertise.

About Us:

RE/MAX Jaret & Cohn has been locally owned and deeply rooted in Midcoast Maine since the early 1980s. With more than 40 agents across four offices in Belfast, Camden, Rockland, and Waldoboro, we don’t just work here; this special place is a part of us. From the back roads and neighborhoods, to the school pick-up lines and tide schedules, we have a comprehensive understanding of what makes the Midcoast tick, and we bring that insight to every transaction. Backed by the strength of the nation’s #1 real estate brand, we are experienced professionals who put your goals and our community first. We’ll help you buy, sell, and invest in properties throughout the region with local insight, intentional strategy, and global connections.

What Sets Us Apart:

Real estate is personal, and so is our approach. We understand that buying or selling real estate is a milestone deserving of deep consideration, and we tailor each experience to your unique situation.

As trusted professionals and active members of the communities we serve, our agents show up ready to listen, and with a shared investment in your success. Wherever your real estate journey takes us, we’re not walking alongside you, we walk ahead; clearing the path, anticipating turns, and advocating for your best interests every step of the way. We are also proud to support local nonprofits, sponsor community events, and lend a hand where it’s needed. Because when our communities thrive, we all do.

Each year, hundreds of families and individuals trust us with one of life’s biggest decisions, and we don’t take that lightly. We know that real estate goes far beyond buying and selling; to us, it’s connection, trust, and investing in the future of Midcoast Maine.

Looking Ahead:

In 2025, our focus remains steady: strengthening our communities through meaningful relationships and expert guidance. We’re continually growing our Agent Support Team, finding ways to get involved with important local organizations, enhancing marketing tools, and investing in new ways to serve our clients at the highest level possible. Whether you’re making your first move or your fifteenth, work with the agency that understands what matters most to you, and believes the process should feel just as good as the results.

Let Nature Be Your North Star

At North Star Adventures, we believe in the restorative power of the outdoors — a gift that belongs to everyone, regardless of ability. Join us and let nature become your sanctuary: a place where limitations fade and the healing energy of the wild inspires renewal, confidence, and joy.

The heart behind North Star Adventures, Nancy Zane, brings over 25 years of outdoor leadership experience to every trip and class. A passionate educator and guide, Nancy has dedicated her life to helping people uncover their inner strength, connect deeply with nature, and embrace the power of adventure.

Her journey has always been about more than reaching a summit or paddling a new stretch of coastline — it’s about transformation. With every retreat, paddle, and mountain hike, Nancy encourages you to step outside your comfort zone, reflect, grow, and reconnect with yourself. Her ability to inspire is what truly sets her apart — participants often say a trip with Nancy is both grounding and life-changing.

Adventures for Every Explorer
At North Star Adventures, we offer custom-designed experiences that allow you to craft something truly your own. Our goal is to work with you to create a fun, safe, and one-of-a-kind adventure that meets your goals and fuels your spirit of exploration.

We also offer a wide range of Women’s Adventures and open enrollment trips and classes, open to anyone who’s ready to get outside and grow. Sea kayaking and inland paddling adventures take you through Maine’s stunning waterways — from quiet, serene lakes to the wild, rugged coastline. Hiking and backpacking trips range from local excursions to full-on backcountry journeys. Join us every summer Tuesday for Trekking Tuesday — weekly hikes exploring different trails across Maine.

Winter excursions can be a hut to hut ski trip, an expedition to Baxter State Park, day hiking, snowshoeing, or a winter camping trip.
Build your outdoor skills with practical, confidence-boosting classes like Outdoor Baking, Land & Sea Navigation, and Sea Kayak Skills.
Wilderness First Aid (WFA) courses are offered each spring and fall, led by Nancy through the SOLO School of Wilderness Medicine, where she’s been an instructor for over a decade.
